If you want more details, please ask. How long have I been teaching in China? this year is year #4. Will I ever go back to the US? Don't know. Ask God. Why Wuhan? Am I married? no. Dating? no. Why? no time. What is the most important thing in my life? relationships. With God and with others. I love people, love listening to their hearts. Nothing brings me more joy than when a person discovers true Life and I get to watch their discovery. Do I speak Chinese? Not really. I pretend. Do I understand Chinese? I understand MUCH MORE than I pretend to speak. Am I studying Chinese? Well, I have a Chinese teacher, but just because I have a Chinese teacher doesn't exactly mean I study very much. Have I ever changed my major? Yes. From what to what? From Music to International Studies. Why? God told me to. And besides, as a music major, I was rot. Love music. Don't love the analysis of it. I was 22 when I graduated. By number of years in uni, no. I went for 5 years. But I don't think it really counts if you consider that I graduated from high school a year early. Where did I graduate from high school? Johnson Christian School. One in a class of three. Small, I know. Will I go on to get my Masters degree? Donno. Depends on what God says. Where would I get it? Donno. Depends on where God tells me to go. If I decided to get an MAT, I would like to go back to George Fox. Be it a degree in Marriage and Family Counceling, possibly Harding University. If it is a TESOL degree, maybe Portland State or U of O or maybe a school in HongKong. Really, I have no idea whatsoever. What is the stupidest thing I have ever done? Not a clue. Stupid things are done every day. The degree of stupidity is difficult to determine when the occurance of such events are so commonplace. Perhaps the most recent stupid thing - You know you can switch computers without having to switch the monitor, right? Well, silly me... I traded computer towers with my Thai neighbor, but stupid me, I thought they needed to change the monitor also. And the keyboard and everything else. I carried it all down to the 3rd floor (I live on the 6th), only to realize my stupidity. The other people present got a good laugh. A humbling moment to be sure. What time do I get up every morning? Depends on when I teach. Most days I wake between 5:30 and 6:00. Usually wake when my roommate gets up and bites me. Just ask my teachers from high school... they will cringe as they tell you about ducks. Most of my papers were about ducks or some other kind of waterfoul. What is the best Chinese food I have eaten? La zi yu. Spicy fish with so much pepper it makes your mouth numb. There is a wonderful Sichuan restaurant on the other side of town that makes this particular dish to perfection... oh, so wonderful!!!
